

About Us
Our full name is The Canadian Embroiderers' Guild, Kitchener-Waterloo, though The K-W Embroiderers' Guild is much easier to say! We are a non-profit organization that was founded in January 1989. We are a teaching guild and a member of the Ontario Network of Needleworkers. New members, whatever their level of needlework skill are welcome!

Our Objectives:

To encourage the practice and knowledge of the art of embroidery

To bring together people who are interested in sharing their knowledge of embroidery, and expanding their knowledge through training and development

To promote creativity while encouraging the interplay of ideas among members

To extend awareness of embroidery to the community
Benefits of Membership:

Opportunities to learn a variety of stitching techniques at Tuesday evening classes

Participation in workshops and field trips (extra cost may be involved)
